Job Summary

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations. Your analytical skills and strong attention to detail will contribute to the overall financial stability and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights, recommendations, and forecasts to support informed business decisions.
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
  • Support the Finance Manager or Controller with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and tools (e.g., Quick Books, Excel) to record, analyze, and report financial data.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of financial information.
