Senior Manager, Global Cash & Investments

Expedia Group's Treasury team is responsible for the company’s cash positioning, investments, free cash flow and working capital management resulting from approximately $100 billion in annual gross bookings generated from its global portfolio of brands that offer travel products in more than 200 countries and territories.

• Lead the team responsible for managing the investment portfolio, Treasury payments, cash positioning, and direct cash flow forecasting.
• Evaluate, screen, and recommend various investment opportunities.
• Manage cash flows and requirements on a subsidiary-level basis, including understanding business backgrounds for cash trends, evaluating monthly cash forecasts, financing requirements, long-term cash forecasting, planning or repatriation of funds through loans or dividends.
• Conduct real-time quantitative analysis of investment performance to identify opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
• Design and consult with Expedia stakeholders on bank account structures, use of bank products, platforms, and cash management operations.
• Maintain timely communication with all companies and senior management for cash activity in the region.
• Develop cash concentration, repatriation and pooling structures compliant with US Tax, international statutory, and central bank requirements.
• Evaluate, monitor, and communicate banking counter party performance.
• Manage Expedia’s intercompany loan portfolio.
• Collaborate with the Expedia Payments Group to optimize cash use and review payment providers for optimal settlement timing and foreign exchange terms; participate in quarterly business reviews and support onboarding with banks for automatic reconciliation and funding.
• Partner with Corporate Development, Tax, and Business Groups on deal planning, cash flow funding strategy, foreign exchange, intercompany planning, and wire execution; ensure wires and intercompany movements are executed accurately.
• Prepare Global Cash and quarterly reporting and metrics for senior management.

• Bachelor's degree – Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Data science.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Corporate Treasury with a focus on Cash Management and investment management.
• People manager experience highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of cash management, foreign exchange, and banking; ability to translate input from Tax, Legal and global business units into a cohesive Treasury plan.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and project management skills; ability to influence others on complex projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000 to $217,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase pay up to $248,000 based on performance. Starting pay varies by location, budget, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
