Job Description
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer with Non-Profit experience to join our client's team in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a long term, hybrid contract position with the possibility of permanent employment.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage cash flow
- Spearhead budgets and forecasts
- Track operational metrics
- Risk management
- Develop forecasting models
- Conduct regular audits
- Oversee capital management
- Proven experience as a CFO or relevant role with a minimum of 7 years in a senior financial managerial position at a Non-Profit organization
- Proficiency in utilizing Accounting Software Systems and Quick Books Pro.
- Expertise in Auditing procedures and regulations.
- Strong experience in developing and overseeing Budget Processes.
- Proven skills in Capital Management.
- Proficient in conducting Cash Flow Analysis.
- Experience in KPI Reporting and creating Annual Forecasts.
- Knowledge of Non-profit Accounting principles and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
