Benefits Coordinator

Supports client financial management in accordance with all Federal and State and Company regulations in addition to processing specific financial tasks related to the individuals and organization.

• Maintaining and verifying client accounts
• Verify household ledgers (grocery, cash, EBT)
• Processing payments and managing bills for supported individuals
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Timely and professional communication with external Representative Payee's
• Prepare annual Individual Financial Plans (IFP) for clients
• Develop and submit monthly expense reports
• Ensuring client funds are handled in accordance with Washington Administrative codes
• Maintain regular communication with supervisor and attend management team meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate tracking of all financial transactions for consumers and clear records for auditing purposes

• Experience with I/DD population (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of financial, accounting, banking and account reconciliation procedures.
• Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
