Experienced Escrow Assistant

Escrow Assistant | Everett, Washington

• Support the escrow process from opening through closing, disbursement, and post‑closing follow‑up.
• Open orders and accurately enter and maintain transaction information.
• Prepare closing documents and input closing statement information.
• Review and interpret contracts, instructions, and other agreements related to escrow transactions.
• Communicate regularly with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other transaction partners.
• Anticipate file needs, follow up on outstanding items, and help keep deadlines on track.
• Use First American’s technology and systems to support accurate, efficient transactions.
• Partner closely with the Escrow Officer and broader branch team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of the escrow process, terminology, documentation, and transaction timelines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving and customer service.
• The ability to remain composed and responsive in a fast‑paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to step in wherever needed to support the team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range: $22.16 - $29.56 hourly. The position is eligible for bonus pay and/or incentives for production or other goals.
