POSITION TITLE: Loan Servicing Representative

FLSA STATUS:Non-exempt

SALARY:$21.95 - $24.00 DOE

Bilingual preferred English/Spanish

Provides excellent member service within the loan servicing department by managing and supporting exiting consumer and mortgage loans. Demonstrates attention to detail and motivation to achieve results. Works collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of all tasks in alignment with procedures and policies.

• Provide loan maintenance requests,collections support,payoffs, and servicing updates accurately.
• Research and resolve member issues or discrepancies related to loan payments, insurance, and escrow accounts.
• Collaborate within department for data entry, reporting, scanning and filing to ensure smooth loan servicing operations.
• Represent the credit union in a courteous, honest and professional manner while maintaining confidentiality with all member data.
• Ability to; multi task, set priorities, demonstration proficient attention to details, meet deadlines.
• Familiarize with and adhere to Loan Servicing & Credit Union policies and procedures.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.

• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with the credit union systems.

• Excellent communication skills, customer service, verbal and written communication.
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized with proven follow-up capabilities.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

1 year credit union or loan servicing work experience, preferred.

• The employee will operate in a general office environment, using office equipment such as a phone and a computer. The employee must be able to bend, squat and lift occasionally when accessing storage. Standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate as compared to a private office with light foot traffic and office equipment. The employee must be able and willing to interact frequently with the public.
