1.0 FTE Salary Range: $92,000 - $100,00

The Director of Finance provides strategic and operational leadership in managing the organization’s financial functions. This position oversees all accounting and billing staff, ensuring that monthly financial statements are accurate, complete, and timely. The Director of Finance also supports the Chief Financial Officer in developing the organization’s annual budget and preparing budgets associated with grant funding.

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Oversee the operations of the accounting/finance department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives
• Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the organization
• Interpret the organization’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
• Compile key business metrics and shares them with management
• Create additional analyses and reports as requested
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flow for accuracy and efficiencies.
• Oversee the process of medical billing, while partnering with program staff to ensure accuracy in billing.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP or relevant accounting standards, including non-profit fund accounting
• Work directly with external CPA’s to complete an annual financial audit
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local funding rules, including Uniform Guidance and single audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Equivalent business experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience.

• Non-profit, or fund accounting, experience preferred
• Health Care industry experience a plus
