Korry Electronics is seeking a Controller to serve as a key member of our finance leadership team and a strategic partner to the business. This is a high-impact role intentionally designed as part of our finance succession and leadership-development strategy.
Our objective is to develop the successful candidate toward readiness for a Vice President of Finance opportunity within approximately 2–3 years
, either at Korry Electronics or another business within our parent company. Progression will be based on demonstrated performance, leadership readiness, organizational needs, and available opportunities.
This opportunity is designed for a finance leader who has mastered the fundamentals of controllership and is ready to broaden their impact across financial planning, operational finance, business strategy, transformation, talent development, and executive decision support.
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Controller will be a key member of Korry's finance leadership team and will partner closely with senior functional and business leaders across the organization.What You Will Do
As Controller, you will be responsible for the integrity of Korry's financial results, the effectiveness of its financial controls, and the quality of financial insight used to run the business.
You will lead the accounting and controllership organization while serving as a strategic partner to operational and business leadership. You will help translate business performance into financial outcomes, improve profitability and cash generation, strengthen forecasting and decision-making, and modernize financial processes, systems, and analytics.
Success in this role requires the ability to move comfortably between detailed financial analysis and senior-level business discussions while developing the broader enterprise perspective required of a future Vice President of Finance.
Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership, Accounting & Controls- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company requirements.
- Maintain the integrity of financial statements, the general ledger, account reconciliations, reserves, accruals, and significant accounting estimates.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve a strong internal-control environment that safeguards company assets and supports reliable financial reporting.
- Provide leadership on technical accounting matters, accounting policies, and financial governance.
- Lead internal and external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of findings and control deficiencies.
- Maintain appropriate financial controls over inventory, revenue, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and other significant balance-sheet accounts.
- Lead or play a significant leadership role in the annual operating plan, periodic forecasts, long-range planning, and strategic financial modeling.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to translate operational plans into financial forecasts, performance targets, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide rigorous analysis of actual performance versus plan, forecast, and prior year, clearly identifying underlying business drivers.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Provide senior leadership with concise, decision-oriented reporting on revenue, margins, operating expenses, cash flow, working capital, and key business-performance indicators.
- Provide financial leadership for manufacturing operations, including standard costing, inventory valuation, overhead allocation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Commercial leadership to understand and improve the financial drivers of business performance.
