Carter Pierce is partnered with a private equity-backed business services platform to identify a Head of Corporate Development to lead deal execution as the company scales through an active acquisition strategy. This role owns deal execution end-to-end once a target is in the pipeline — from initial calls with sellers through full diligence and close — across both platform acquisitions and tuck-in deals.
Reports directly to the company's CFO.
- Run seller relationships and manage deal execution end-to-end
- Oversee both platform acquisitions and tuck-in acquisitions
- Team growth, leadership and development
- Partner cross-functionally as needed to support integration of acquired businesses
- 5–7 years of experience — 1-2 years in investment banking plus 3+ years buy-side/corporate development experience
- Background in private equity or corporate M&A/corporate development
- Strong EQ for managing seller relationships directly
- Technology or A&D/Government experience preferred
