Tech Op Solutions is seeking a remote Junior FOIA Analyst to conduct initial FOIA request reviews, perform records searches, draft response materials, and apply exemptions under supervision.
*** This position is contingent upon contract award.***
- Assist in conducting internet and records-based research to support FOIA search and retrieval efforts.
- Support document review, identification of responsive records, and preparation of materials for redaction.
- Apply appropriate FOIA exemptions and red actions consistent with federal law.
- Receive, log, scan, and route incoming FOIA and mail records in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one (1) year of FOIA request processing experience supporting a US Government agency within the last 24 months.
- Proficient in applying redaction tools and documenting FOIA exemption determinations.
- Associate degree.
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive internet and records research in support of FOIA search and review functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with leadership.
