Northwest Washington Director

U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) seeks a Northwest Washington Director to serve as a liaison with local governments, constituents, and organizations from her Everett, Washington office covering Whatcom, San Juan Island, Skagit, and Snohomish counties. Responsibilities include, and are not limited to, attending local events, advising the Senator on key community developments and concerns, writing briefings, updates, and letters, planning outreach activities, corresponding and meeting with community leaders, coordinating with Senator Murray’s policy and communications teams, and communicating on behalf of the Senator.

The ideal candidate has experience working in this region, is a team player, proactive, an excellent listener, great at communicating and connecting with people, and a problem solver.

The salary for this position is $75,000 annually.
