About Care Crisis Response Services (CCRS):

CCRS is a 24/7 crisis center offering suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and professional consultation services, including behavioral health evaluations. We provide brief crisis counseling and help clients identify appropriate services for their behavioral health crises. Our operations include regional and 988 crisis lines across Washington State.

General Function:

This full‑time hourly position serves as a liaison between Behavioral Health and Finance, providing financial and administrative support to Program Leadership and the Executive Director. Coordinates contract budget tracking, payroll processing support, and financial reporting while working closely with Finance Leadership to ensure compliance with organizational policies, internal controls, and financial procedures. Collaborates with managers and supervisors across departments to support operational and financial objectives.

Principal

Activities:
  • Partner with the Behavioral Health Senior Program Accountant to perform the full range of program financial functions, sharing responsibility for the daily finance workload and ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Independently prepare, monitor, and reconcile Behavioral Health program and contract budgets, ensuring expenditures align with funding requirements, contract provisions, Uniform Guidance (UGG), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Communicate any potential budget or compliance concerns.
  • Perform monthly contract invoicing, spend‑down tracking, year‑to‑date contract analysis, and related financial reporting. Monitor contract activity and communicate potential budget or compliance concerns.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute recurring and ad hoc financial reports from the financial system (MIP, but changing soon) and payroll system (Paycom), providing financial analysis and responding to questions from Finance and Behavioral Health leadership.
  • Coordinate payroll and labor allocation activities for Behavioral Health programs, including reviewing labor distribution reports, ensuring accurate coding, communicating changes to Payroll, and preparing payroll corrections and requests as needed.
  • Monitor employee timecard completion and approvals to ensure payroll deadlines are met and contract billing remains timely and accurate.
  • Troubleshoot payroll, timekeeping, labor allocation, invoicing, and finance issues in collaboration with Payroll, Behavioral Health leadership, and Finance staff.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Behavioral Health funding sources, grant requirements, and service contracts to ensure financial activities remain compliant with funding and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with organizational policies, GAAP, Uniform Guidance, and funding agency requirements.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in all accounting processes performed by the Behavioral Health Senior Program Accountant through ongoing cross‑training to ensure the ability to independently perform all essential functions of the Behavioral Health finance role.
