Join our Human Services Aging & Disability Services Team!
Position: Snohomish County Human Services is hiring a qualified individual to support our new WA Cares Fund Program as a Beneficiary Services Specialist. This position will have the primary duty of completing benefit application intake, perform in-home eligibility assessments, and service navigation once WA Cares Fund goes live statewide July 1, 2026. This position will also manage planning, internal readiness, and direct collaboration with state partners to ensure a successful rollout.
Since this is a new program, there will be the expectation of the ability to be innovative and understand that change will be inevitable in the following years.

Ideal candidate for this position:
- Demonstrates a commitment to a person-centered mindset approach;
- Has experience writing policies and procedures, program development, and evaluation;
- Has strong understanding of in-home assessments, care coordination, and public benefit programs;
- Has experience managing cross-functional teams and working with state or regional partners; and
- Has a passion for ensuring the community has long term services and supports available to access when needed.
