Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of ultrasound experience with BLS and ARDMS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in a Level II trauma center with both inpatient and outpatient radiology departments
- Handles adult, ER, NICU, pediatric, and portable ultrasound exams
- Night shifts are 4x10 hours, scheduled from 20:30 to 7:00, including weekends
- May be required to float between like units and to a nearby campus
- Uses Epic EMR;
Epic experience is required - Responsible for a range of ultrasound procedures across diverse patient populations
- Travelers are required to float within state facilities as needed
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Returning perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal to no RTO is preferred; all RTO must be discussed before submission and is not guaranteed after contract award
- Scrub color can be any color except reddish orange
- Facility-provided parking
- Current BLS certification required
- ARDMS required; ARDMS AB, ARDMS-OB/GYN, and ARRT S are preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience required
- Experience in adult, ER, NICU, pediatrics, and portable studies required
- Epic charting experience required
- Supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable setting within the last three years required
- SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
- License required if applicable
