• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and psychiatric conditions in a general medicine unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, medication responses, and mental health status, ensuring timely interventions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe and therapeutic environment, managing crisis situations as needed.

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Washington.
• 1+ year of experience in a Med Surg, behavioral health, or psychiatric nursing setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong understanding of medical and psychiatric conditions, crisis intervention, and patient advocacy.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
