Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Pediatric Outpatient (Travel) – Everett, Washington.
Start date:
07/20/2026. Duration:
Weeks. This travel assignment requires relocation for the duration of the contract. The role supports pediatric patients from neonates through adolescents in an outpatient setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team within a Level II Trauma Center hospital campus.
- Weekly pay: $2,040–$2,113 per week
- Travel assignment within an outpatient pediatric program on a hospital campus
- Shift: 5 days, 8‑hour days
- Start date:
07/20/2026 - Interdisciplinary setting with NICU on a Level II trauma center campus
- Orientation: 8 hours; pre‑approved time off: 2 days per contract
- Guaranteed hours:
Clinician may be called off for 1 eight‑hour shift per 2‑week period
- Perform pediatric outpatient speech‑language assessments and evaluations for diverse needs, including language, articulation, fluency, voice, and oral‑motor skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies as appropriate.
- Administer and interpret standardized tests (familiarity with PLS‑4 and CELF); document findings for evaluation coding.
- Provide patient and family education; support transition of skills to home and school settings.
- Maintain 1:1 patient contact during therapy and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., Social Services) to support overall care.
- Document in the electronic charting system (EPIC) with accurate and compliant records.
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric‑related experience; first‑timers not accepted; travel experience required.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in pediatric outpatient settings; familiarity with autism and developmental delays.
- Ability to work with patients across a broad age range, including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar EHR systems; strong documentation and coding skills.
- Eligible to practice in the specified location; ability to work the listed shift and setting.
