The Psychologist works under the Director of the Diagnostic Services Department and is responsible for completing psychological/neuropsychological testing, reviewing and signing reports, and conducting supervision and training of all Psychometrists in the region/state.

POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- To provide comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological and/or psycho educational evaluations of clients with referral concerns related to learning, behavioral, emotional, and/or social difficulties.
- To provide written and oral feedback to clients regarding results of evaluations, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for appropriate remediation of concerns including referrals.
- Conduct in‑person and/or virtual comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological and/or psycho educational evaluations.
- Following evaluation, provide feedback sessions with the patient (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor).
- Compile a written report detailing the evaluation findings, diagnosis(es), and recommendations to be kept in the patient’s medical record and to be shared with the patient (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor) and referral source (in accordance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Plans).
- Ensure that written documentation is completed and uploaded in a timely manner per departmental policy.
- Provide direct Supervision (Individual/Group) and Training of Neuropsychological Testing/Assessment to “Diagnostic Specialists” (Psychometrists/Technicians).
- Actively seek out supervision when needed.
- Remain current within the field of psychology and seek opportunities for continuing education related to psychological/neuropsychological testing of pediatric patients.
