Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to work on a 13‑week assignment at a facility in Everett, Washington.

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance.
• Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management strategies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
• Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Prior experience in a similar setting; new graduates are welcome.
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

• Critical thinking and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, and handle equipment weighing 50–100 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive professional attitude.
