Job Summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to work on a 13‑week assignment at a facility in Everett, Washington.

- Hours: 40 per week, 8‑hour days
- Employment Type: Travel
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
- Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely, ensuring proper maintenance.
- Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management strategies.
- Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
- Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings.
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
- Prior experience in a similar setting; new graduates are welcome.
- Additional certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
- Critical thinking and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, and handle equipment weighing 50–100 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive professional attitude.
