Job Details:
• 13-week assignment with day shifts running 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday through Saturday
• 3x12 shift schedule with every Saturday required
• Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for 1 shift per 2-week period
• Float coverage required between Outpatient, Inpatient, and Emergency Department units
• Daily caseload of 30 to 40 patients
• Day shift includes specialized studies such as Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI
• Perform a wide variety of MRI exams including brain, spine, abdomen, and extremity scans
• Patient acuity ranges from ambulatory to total assist; more ambulatory patients on day shift and more partial to total assist for inpatients
• Preferred experience with Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, and Adolescents
• Call is available but not required
• 1 year of MRI experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) (hard stop), Washington State license (hard stop)
• Scrub color:
Any (no reddish-orange permitted)
• No local candidates accepted (50-mile radius rule applies)
Facility:
This is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses, offering a comprehensive range of services including Outpatient, Interventional Radiology, Emergency Room, and Inpatient care. The MRI department operates 2 rooms and handles a diverse caseload of exams spanning multiple specialties. The facility uses Epic for charting and provides paid parking for staff.
