Description
Responsible for answering all incoming calls into the hospital's main telephone number, physician's answering service and in-house operator calls; provides in-person visitor information, reception, and paging. Coordinates all emergency communications to include Trauma Codes, Codes 4, NICU, Codes Red, Codes Blue, Codes Yellows, Codes 900, and Helicopter Landing. Monitors Hospital Alarm Panels, handles all Fire and Disaster Drills, and operates hospital two-way radios.
Required Qualifications- Previous switchboard experience in a healthcare setting.
- Answering service experience or answering phones at large organizations.
- Healthcare background.
Job Shift: Night
Pay Range: $22.50 - $38.82
