We are a home care agency located in Washington DC and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide assistance to elderly clients in their homes. As a caregiver you will be responsible for supporting the physical, emotional and social needs of our clients while promoting their independence and well‑being. • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if needed
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedule
• Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation
• Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes to supervisor
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience working as a caregiver or similar role preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with elderly clients
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
