Overview

MRI Technologist (Radiology) – Everett, Washington. This travel assignment in a hospital MRI department covers inpatient, outpatient, and ED MRI coverage.

Start date:

07/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $1,876–$1,945. Shift: 3x12-hour days, 06:30–19:00, Wednesday through Friday. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks (traveler may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period). Weekend requirement:

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations across a range of patients, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Position patients and equipment to optimize image quality; select appropriate sequences
  • Administer contrast as directed by protocol; monitor patients during procedures
  • Verify patient history and screening, including safety checks for implants and contraindications
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings with radiologists; assist with image quality review
  • Operate within EPIC charting system; assist with cross-covering outpatient, inpatient, and ED cases as needed
Requirements
  • Active Washington state license in-hand
  • ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification (ARRT-IT listed as acceptable)
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year MRI experience
  • Preferred: experience with neonatal, infant, pediatric, or adolescent patients; cardiac MRI or breast MRI experience
  • Ability to float to Outpatient, Inpatient, and ED as needed; PACS familiarity; contrast administration
