Physical Therapist Outpatient

Overview

St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to deliver patient‑centered care, education, and collaborative treatment for injuries, diseases, and disabilities. The role emphasizes evidence‑based practice and innovative therapy modalities.

• Screen patients, perform diagnostic assessment, and design treatment plans using standard physical therapy practices.
• Implement therapeutic modalities and interventions to manage a broad range of conditions.
• Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers on treatment regimens and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and stakeholders to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Participate in mentoring and supervision of students and new hires.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health and adhere to service standards.

• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with the target patient population in an outpatient setting.

• Needs to see, read, and communicate verbally and accurately during patient care.
• Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and typing electronic records.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients and equipment, including heavy loads.
• Walk and assist with ambulating patients and transporting supplies in busy clinical spaces.
• Stand for extended periods when required.

• Hourly rate: $42.66 – $65.82, depending on experience.
• Sign‑on bonus of $20,000 and relocation assistance up to $5,750 for eligible candidates.
