Sign‑On Bonus: up to $5,000

Position SummaryThe Licensed Mental Health Professional is a key role within the behavioral health department role is responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for patients with a broad array of behavioral health disorders, mental illness, and co‑occurring illnesses. You will apply evidence‑based outpatient therapy and clinical service skill sets in your daily work.
Responsibilities- Complete psychiatric or psychosocial assessments, including mental status exams.
- Develop, with the service user, a comprehensive treatment plan that identifies unique needs.
- Provide individual, couples, family, psychoeducation, and group therapy as appropriate.
- Offer psychotherapy and supportive therapy (problem solving, role‑playing, modeling, social skill development, assertiveness training) to enhance patient social and interpersonal activities in community settings.
- Document all encounters in the inpatient electronic health record according to organizational policies and procedures; monitor outcome measurements.
- Collaborate with referral sources and other members of the patient’s clinical team.
- Monitor and evaluate intervention effectiveness through ongoing measurement of individual outcomes.
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Legal designation as a Mental Health Professional under HB 1724, with at least one of the following credentials:
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Social Worker Independent Clinical Licensure (LSC)
- Valid driver’s license and abstract.
Competitive salary range: $39.85 – $57.35
USD per hour, with final compensation influenced by experience, skill set, and certification.
