Radiology Technician-Pain Therapy-PRN/Day Shift

Following ALARA protocols, the radiological technician, performs routine and emergent radiographic imaging using ionizing radiation to produce quality x‑ray and/or CT exams. (ALARA – The radiation dose should be As Low As Reasonably Achievable.)

Role Overview
Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level without constant supervision. Assume responsibility for procedures performed and related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, ARRT registry or registry eligible (must achieve within 6 months of hire). Understanding of basic anatomy. Ability to lift, move, and transport patients. State licensure (required in Arkansas) preferred. Proficiency in radiographic equipment & processors. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Technical skill in radiologic procedures. Understanding of basic anatomy. Ability to manipulate x‑ray equipment (including mobile units). Carry cassettes & select exposure factors. Evaluate radiographs. Lift, move & transport patients. Stand & walk for extended periods. Recognize emergencies & adapt to stress. Communicate effectively. Equipment Used:
Radiographic equipment, Radiographic processors, Computers.
