You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES of NAVAL STATION EVERETT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Responding to emergency situations, directing the crew, and conducting fire ground operations
- Overseeing and directing day-to-day operations of multiple fire stations with two or more firefighting crews (including a Lead Firefighter and assigned crew) per station who drive and operate firefighting vehicles of significant complexity
- Performing crash and rescue operations
- Assisting in reducing and/or eliminating potential fire hazards
This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications for this position:
- Firefighter I and II
- Fire Officer I, II, and III
- Fire Inspector I and II
- Fire Instructor I and II
- Airport Firefighter
- Haz Mat Incident Commander
- BLS (EMT - B Certification)
- National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification
These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or Pro Board to meet the requirement.
If you do not possess all of the above certifications and you have not attached a copy of your transcript or certifications, you will be rated ineligible.
