Sterile Processing Technician – Travel

Shift: 5x8 Days, 06:00–14:30 - Rotating weekends required

Assignment length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience

Required certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA

Preferred experience:

Trauma Level I, children's hospital, community hospital

Perform instrument decontamination and manual cleaning of surgical instruments and trays.

Assemble instrument trays and sets in compliance with standards.

Manage sterilization processes and testing, including steam and low-temperature methods.

Reprocess scopes and perform high-level disinfection.

Maintain familiarity with instrumentation management systems and loaner trays.

Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.

Orientation: 3-day day-shift orientation.
