Overview
Registered Nurse — OR, Cardiothoracic / Vascular focus travel assignment in Everett, Washington.
Start date:
06/22/2026. Duration:
Weeks. Shift: 4×10 Days. Weekly pay: $2,333–$2,442. Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2-week pay period. Setting:
Level II Trauma Center with 18 OR rooms, serving Cardiothoracic, Vascular, and General OR service lines. This assignment requires EPIC charting for perioperative care and supports a mix of cardiothoracic and vascular procedures.

- Contract duration:
Weeks - Shift: 4×10 Days
- Start date:
06/22/2026 - Work setting: OR within a Level II Trauma Center (CVOR/Vascular plus General OR)
- Orientation: 40 hours on unit; 8 hours reduced NBO; confirm with client
- Call and coverage:
At least 1 weekend/month plus ~5 weekday evenings/month; weekends on-call - Float:
Travelers float to Main OR / General OR as needed within like units - Travel-friendly requirements:
Non-local assignment; 50-mile radius note applies per policy
- Provide intraoperative circulation and/or scrub support for cardiothoracic, vascular, and general OR cases, including CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA repair, carotid work, VATS, RATS, mediastinoscopy, and other minimally invasive cardiac procedures
- Assist with laparoscopic and open procedures; manage instrument counts, positioning, and maintaining sterile technique
- Anticipate needs of the surgical team; interact with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and scrub staff to ensure patient safety and efficient room flow
- Verify patient data, procedural counts, and materials in EPIC; document perioperative events accurately
- Support, position, and monitor patients through induction, maintenance, and emergence; manage intraoperative equipment and suction/thrombosis precautions as indicated
- Float to related OR areas as required; maintain flexibility in assignment while upholding patient safety and facility standards
- Experience:
1 year of OR/perioperative experience; first-timers accepted - Epic experience:
Required - Certifications:
BLS required; ACLS, CNOR, PALS, TNCC preferred - Procedures/skills:
General, Cardiovascular/Thoracic, and Laparoscopic capabilities; scrub experience preferred but not mandatory - Population:
Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Setting readiness:
Able to work in a high-volume OR with cardiovascular/vascular and general cases; willing to float within related units - Location and staffing:
Not accepting locals; travel assignment in Everett, WA area; ability to comply with on-call and holiday requirements - Other:
Compliance with unit orientation and pre-start modules; ability to meet pre-approved time-off policies as applicable
- Structured onboarding with unit-specific orientation (40 hours) and additional pre-start modules (average ~16 hours; approval required for more)
- Travel assignment coordination and recruiter support provided by Healthforce Healthcare LLC; references coordinated as part of onboarding
- Orientation hours discrepancy noted in postings; confirm details with recruiter prior to start
- References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (may include Charge RNs/Lead)
