Occupational Therapist for Pediatric Rehabilitation
Provide evidence‑based, child‑centered therapy to support pediatric patients in achieving meaningful functional goals within a hospital setting. Report to the Pediatric Rehabilitation Manager and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, physical therapists, speech‑language pathologists, pediatricians, child life specialists, social workers, and case managers.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop goal‑driven treatment plans.
- Deliver family‑centered education and training to patients and caregivers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and document clinical progress with precision.
- Assist with quality‑improvement initiatives and mentorship opportunities.
- Manage a manageable caseload with scheduling assistance and utilize advanced pediatric equipment and resources.
