Description:

Start date is as soon as possible. This position is for 3x12 night shifts, including at least one weekend night shift. Travelers with one year of experience are accepted. Call requirements include up to 6-8 weekday night shifts and 6-8 twelve-hour shifts. Scrub color is flexible, with no reddish-orange permitted. Charting is conducted using an electronic health record system. The facility handles a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, neurological, gynecological, urological, plastic, general, robotic, vascular, thoracic, and cardiac procedures.

Travelers will not be required to float between units. Weekends may be required for on-call shifts, but there is no regular weekend work. Local candidates are not accepted. Pending licenses are permitted. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Guaranteed hours are 60 hours every two weeks. It is essential to have experience with Level II trauma, craniotomies, vascular procedures, and trauma cases.

The daily census is approximately 50-60 surgical cases. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 571 staffed beds. There are 18 operating rooms available. The surgical team supports a range of patient diagnoses, primarily focusing on adults and geriatrics.
