Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM).
Pacific Campus, less than 1 mile from Colby Campus.
The Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is located at a facility dedicated to providing comprehensive maternity services and features a Level II NICU. The SLP will work with pediatric patients to assess and treat a range of speech and language disorders, providing exceptional care through various therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations for pediatric patients with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on assessments.
- Utilize alternative communication devices and augmentative communication strategies.
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and communication techniques.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
- Knowledge of developmental delay diagnoses in pediatric patients.
