Sterile Processing Technician
Schedule:
Days, 5x8 — 06:00–14:30
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed
Hours:
72 hours per 2 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years sterile processing experience
- Required certification: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA
- Experience with processing sink inserts / flexi pumps preferred
- References: 2 references covering 1 year of recent experience (within last 3 years)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform decontamination and cleaning of surgical instruments and sets.
- Assemble instruments and sets for surgical cases.
- Ensure steam sterilization and monitoring of instruments.
- Handle loaner and consignment instruments.
- Process scopes and perform high-level disinfection as required.
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 3-day orientation (Day 1: 08:00–16:30; Days 2–3: 06:00–14:30)
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day - Rotating weekends required
- Background checks are required prior to submission.
