Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule:

Days, 5x8 — 06:00–14:30

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years sterile processing experience
• Required certification: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA
• Experience with processing sink inserts / flexi pumps preferred
• References: 2 references covering 1 year of recent experience (within last 3 years)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination and cleaning of surgical instruments and sets.
• Assemble instruments and sets for surgical cases.
• Ensure steam sterilization and monitoring of instruments.
• Handle loaner and consignment instruments.
• Process scopes and perform high-level disinfection as required.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 3-day orientation (Day 1: 08:00–16:30; Days 2–3: 06:00–14:30)
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Rotating weekends required
• Background checks are required prior to submission.
