Role Overview
This position is responsible for performing MRI procedures, including setting up, scanning, and filming.
Role OverviewThis position is responsible for performing MRI procedures, including setting up, scanning, and filming.
It involves communicating with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families to ensure quality patient care.
Additional duties include performing quality control, maintaining schedules, assisting radiologists, handling medications within scope, starting IVs, and supporting department operations.
The role requires taking call and contributing to efficient workflow.
Qualifications & Skills- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training or MRI Technologist Training Program.
- WA State Radiologic Technologist license with MR designation.
- National Registered Technologist - MRI or Certified MRI Technologist certification.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Hospital experience.
- Two years of sub-specialty MRI experience.
- Perform MRI procedures accurately and safely.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and families.
- Maintain quality control and department efficiency.
- Assist radiologists and handle medications within scope.
- Support patient scheduling and on-call duties.
