Interventional Radiology Technologist
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in a dynamic team environment. The team consists of several interventional radiologists and vascular surgeons. This role will involve working in multiple interventional radiology rooms. Procedures will include cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, and various biopsies. The technologist will assist in venous access procedures, including central lines and ports. Additional responsibilities include performing gastroenterostomies and drains.
Call is required 5-7 days per month, with weekend coverage on an on-call basis. Preferred skills include experience with C-Arm and performing biopsies. Candidates should be experienced in interventional radiology and specialized procedures. The facility provides a supportive and collaborative working environment for its staff. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities as necessary. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to strict protocols and maintain a sterile field.
