What You Will Be Doing:

At Helion, you will play a critical role in supporting the employee experience while ensuring our People systems and processes scale with the company. You'll partner across People Ops, Finance, and other teams to keep core programs running smoothly, maintain data integrity, and help build a strong foundation for growth. This is an onsite role that reports directly to the Director of Talent and People Operations at our Everett, WA office.

You

Will:
  • Partner with the People Ops team to deliver company-wide programs including performance reviews, engagement surveys, onboarding, and benefits
  • Be a key contact for employees, resolving questions on HR systems, benefits, payroll, and People processes with care
  • Support daily HRIS administration and related systems (onboarding, performance, benefits portals), ensuring data accuracy and smooth operations
  • Maintain compliance in employee records and reporting (I-9s, verifications, audits, and benefit filings) with a high standard of confidentiality
  • Build reports and dashboards to provide visibility into People data for leaders and teams
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and implement process improvements that scale with the company
Required Skills:
  • 1+ years of experience in People Operations or Human Resources, ideally in a startup environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS, onboarding, performance, or benefits platforms)
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with compliance
  • Experience communicating clearly and effectively, with the ability to partner across teams
