HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR Delta Hotels by Marriott Seattle Everett is seeking an organized and experienced HR Coordinator to support human resources operations at our 232-room, full-service hotel.

This position plays a key role in maintaining structure, consistency, and professionalism across all HR processes. The HR Coordinator works closely with the General Manager and Corporate HR to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR administration across multiple departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Sales, and Engineering.

The Role

The HR Coordinator supports core HR functions at the property level, ensuring processes are handled accurately and consistently. This includes recruitment coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, record-keeping, and compliance tracking.

The role also assists the General Manager and department leaders with coaching and corrective action processes, helping ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned with company standards. The HR Coordinator partners with Corporate HR on more complex employee relations matters as needed.

This position serves as a trusted resource for managers and employees regarding policies, benefits, and procedures while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for all hotel departments
  • Maintain accurate, confidential personnel files and HRIS records
  • Administer benefits enrollment and respond to employee benefit inquiries
  • Support hotel safety program and workers’ compensation return-to-work process
  • Respond to unemployment requests and attend unemployment hearings
  • Track compliance requirements, training records, and required postings
  • Support managers with performance documentation and corrective action processes
  • Ensure completion of required company and brand training and ongoing employee engagement
  • Review written documentation for clarity and policy alignment
  • Assist with employee relations matters and escalate when appropriate
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices
What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable operating in a high-volume, multi-department hotel environment
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-department operations
  • Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week, ideally across five days
Physical Requirements

This work requires the ability to sit for long periods of time and computer use, with occasional walking, bending, reaching, or carrying light items for filing, training, or safety inspections. Hand and finger dexterity is necessary for typing, writing, and other routine office tasks. Visual acuity is required to read documents, forms, and computer screens accurately. Auditory ability must allow effective communication in person, by telephone, and in group settings, even with background noise.

Schedule
  • On-site, Monday - Friday
  • 32-40 hours per week
Rate of Pay
  • $23.54 to $26.06 per hour/DOE
