Position Overview

Fluke is seeking a strategic HR Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our people, culture, and business.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership, Organizational Development & Succession Planning:
    Partner with senior business leaders to drive organizational design, strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management. Lead skills assessments and development planning.
  • Strategic Insight, Analytics & Decision Support:
    Analyze key business and people metrics, identify trends, recommend systemic interventions, and coach senior leaders.
  • High‑Performance & Inclusive Culture:
    Set goals that drive performance while fostering an engaging, respectful, inclusive, and high‑performance culture.
  • Communication, Collaboration & Conflict Resolution:
    Strengthen communication across senior leadership, coach on interpersonal effectiveness, and partner with COE teams for scalable recruiting and talent planning.
  • Change Leadership:
    Guide leaders through organizational design and major change initiatives, ensuring adoption and business continuity.
  • HR Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
    Maintain knowledge of labor laws, reinforce ethical leadership, and ensure HR policies comply with legal requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building:
    Develop and mentor HR team members, including 2 HRBPs as direct reports.
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic role.
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing HR initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across the business.
  • Broad HR expertise with deep knowledge in organizational design, talent management, employee relations, compensation, engagement, change management, learning, and performance management.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic partnering skills, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
  • Proven project management and execution skills, leveraging data‑driven insights.
  • Ability to operate with autonomy, discretion, and sound judgment in complex situations.
  • Exceptional capability to collaborate with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence across functions and geographies.
  • Experience working effectively within global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20–25%.
