The HR Business Partner provides HR generalist support to a large population of hourly employees and business leaders, bringing expertise in leadership development, employee experience, and operational excellence. You will partner with business leaders to deliver HR initiatives focused on talent management, employee engagement, and internal customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns, addressing root causes, and making high-judgment decisions aligned with policy intent while minimizing risk. Establish and implement mechanisms that ensure consistent, fair application of policies and compliance with evolving regulations.
- Use data analytics to identify emerging trends, predict future challenges, and implement proactive solutions at the site level, turning insights into initiatives that drive measurable improvements in employee experience and business performance.
- Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs, maintaining meaningful floor presence to gather insights, identify early signs of disengagement, and partner with leaders to drive targeted improvements.
- Coach Business Leaders on effective people-management practices, including performance feedback, team development, and complex employee-relations matters, supporting them in building inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement decisions, championing initiatives that create an inclusive environment.
- Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools, ensuring effective utilization while maintaining focus on high-touch service delivery in critical moments.
Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making, focusing on driving organizational effectiveness and employee engagement, leveraging advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, anticipate business needs, and develop solutions that enhance workplace experience and deliver measurable results.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- 2+ years of human resources experience or equivalent (operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing).
- Experience supporting or leading employee-focused processes including onboarding, benefits, investigations, training or talent management.
- Experience handling employee-relations matters and conducting workplace investigations.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills with the ability to guide leaders through complex situations.
- Experience supporting employee-engagement and development initiatives with measurable impacts on employee retention or satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with business leaders.
- Ability to train, guide, and support others in the use of HR technologies and digital platforms, focusing on increasing user adoption and enhancing end-user experience.
- Master's degree, or MBA.
- Experience supporting operational environments (manufacturing, distribution, or similar).
Base salary range: USD 80,400.00 – annually. This position is onsite at an Amazon facility.
