DESIRED HOURS Monday through Friday, Part‑time 10am-2pm PST

The C.A.R.E. Wellness Center is a Washington State 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing safe farm stays, holistic retreats, and wellness programs for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and allies for equity. Our work supports community wellbeing through nature‑based healing, spiritual growth, and racial justice education. We serve vulnerable populations—including justice‑involved community members and foster‑care alumni—using a trauma‑responsive, dignity‑centered approach.

Mission

To provide a safe farm stay, holistic retreat, and wellness programs for Black, Indigenous, People of Color and allies to recover from the impacts of Post‑Traumatic Slave Syndrome (PTSS) through spirituality, agrotourism, and racial justice.

Vision

Connectivity to Nature, to God/Spirit, and to Self. Our long‑term goal is to acquire farmland to establish a spiritual retreat where people of color can rest, heal from chronic trauma, and pursue self‑actualization. All programs are part of a community‑based research project supporting PTSS healing.
