Support day-to-day Human Resources needs for District staff while handling employee relations matters from performance support to impartial investigations.
Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day Human Resources functions, providing broad support to District staff while aligning work to District values
, strategic priorities
, and objectives - Provide simple to moderate analytical and consulting support across multiple HR functions
- Resolve simple to moderate HR issues;
escalate complex matters - Lead and act as a consultant for various HR projects
- Serve as a primary contact for employees, responding to inquiries related to HR programs and directives
- Oversee performance management
- Facilitate conflict resolution
- Partner with managers to address employee concerns and help foster a positive work environment
- Conduct comprehensive,
impartial investigations into matters such as harassment and discrimination
, in collaboration with internal counsel, and provide expert guidance to business leaders - Provide actionable recommendations on employee issues and interpret and administer District policies
- Maintain clear communication and strict confidentiality while navigating complex situations
- Build positive relationships across the organization
- Support program development, implementation, and maintenance for one or more functional areas (with flexibility to support any area as needed):

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field,

two (2) years of related Human Resources experience - OR
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field,
and four (4) years of related Human Resources experience - OR
six (6) years of related Human Resources experience - Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, adaptability, and superior written communication
