Job OverviewNex Threat is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to create and configure simulation exercise databases for the current and future MTC simulations (WARSIM/JLCCTC (BDE and Div), LOTS, JCATS, DXTRS, OneSAF, JDLM, Next Generation Constructive (NGC) Simulation, etc.) to represent the task organization to be used in the exercise and verify that the established databases reflect the desires of the training units by direct coordination with the units.

Requirements- Associate's degree, subject immaterial
- Have 1+ years of experience creating new databases, and leading a database team in support of military training simulations using best practices
- Have 1+ years of experience in ensuring integrity of data for military training simulations by implementing proper database design and enforcing data restrictions
- Knowledge and understanding of design methods and guidelines to ensure proper extraction and insertion of data.
- Experience managing, modifying, and maintaining databases in support of military training simulation
- Monitors database performance and troubleshoots problems and issues as necessary during training exercises and events
