IT Support Engineer , LEO IT Services

Amazon Leo IT Services is looking to hire a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our infrastructure, warehousing operations, production environments, and laboratory facilities.

Shift: Night shift, 5:00PM to 3:30AM, Sun-Wed. Shift assignments or hours may change based on business need.

• Process tickets via approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to triage and resolve customer issues.
• Provision, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and macOS workstations.
• Provision, deploy, and troubleshoot bare‑metal Windows and Linux servers.
• Configure, deploy, and replace network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Participate in hiring, training and development of others.
• Provide technical support for Amazon Leo Production, lab and launch infrastructure, components, and associated software.
• Provide remote support for Amazon Leo employees and infrastructure worldwide.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades.
• Assist with project implementations and technology deployments.
• Drive engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards.
• Participate in on‑call responsibilities.
• Up to 25% travel required.

This position requires that the selected candidate be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government‑imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.

You start the day by reviewing critical incidents that need to be prioritized. After addressing immediate concerns, you will join the daily team stand‑up and work on projects and tickets critical to production and take part with a rotating on‑call. In this role, you will build relationships with production teams, mentor, and ensure stability and standardization. Operational excellence and customer obsession are core values of this role, as we own providing best‑in‑class services to the critical Amazon Leo systems.

Amazon Leo IT Services is a fast‑paced technical support organization focused on supporting large‑scale business initiatives while keeping a Day 1 mentality. Our support scope involves several highly technical areas such as Production Operations, Lab Operations, Launch, and Warehousing.

• 2+ years of technical support experience
• 2+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience
• 2+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience

• Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment
• CCNA or equivalent level networking certification, or Bachelor's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
