The opportunity
Enterprise Services is seeking a Manager, Disaster Recovery and Knowledge Management to lead disaster recovery planning, governance and continuous improvement across the University’s ICT environment.
This is a highly autonomous role with oversight of a mature Disaster Recovery program, while also helping shape knowledge management practices that support better service delivery, resilience and organisational learning. This role is and individual contributor position, which is 80% D isaster Recovery focused and 20% Knowledge Management focused.
What you’ll doLead the planning, coordination, documentation and testing of ICT disaster recovery plans.
Maintain and improve the ICT D isaster Recovery Framework, aligned to business continuity, cybersecurity, risk and compliance requirements.
Work with system owners, vendors and ICT teams to ensure D isaster Recovery capability is embedded across critical applications, cloud services and supplier arrangements.
Develop knowledge management practices, standards and frameworks across platforms such as Service Now, Confluence or SharePoint.
Provide reporting, briefings and advice to senior stakeholders, governance forums and executive committees.
What we’re looking for Extensive experience managing ICT D isaster Recovery , service continuity or resilience programs.
Strong understanding of ICT operations, infrastructure, applications, cloud services and how they support enterprise resilience.
Experience with ITSM processes, particularly Incident Management and Major Incident Management, ideally within an ITIL environment.
Ability to manage D isaster Recovery program including scope of work, schedules, testing, reporting, governance packs, vendor follow-up and recovery performance measures.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, senior leaders and vendors.
Knowledge management experience is a big plus
