IT / CADD Business Analyst – Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to understand and document business needs, workflows, and current challenges related to CADD & IT systems (Requirements Gathering & Analysis).
- Research, evaluate, and recommend enhancements to Autodesk and related tools to improve efficiency, drive automation, and integrate seamlessly with other business systems (Solution Design & Evaluation).
- Assist IT/CADD administrators with system configuration, license management, user setup, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting (System Administration Support).
- Identify opportunities for standardization and automation of design and data management workflows, and implement scripting, templates, or macros to streamline tasks (Process Improvement).
- Develop user documentation, deliver training, and lead change management initiatives for new systems, upgrades, or process changes (Training & Change Management).
- Act as a translator between technical and non‑technical groups, facilitating meetings, addressing concerns, and ensuring that all requirements are properly captured and implemented (Liaison and Communication).
- Gather and analyze usage data from CADD systems to provide insights, track KPIs, and support management in data‑driven decision making (Data and Reporting).
- Support business process owners and key users to analyze, document, and enhance business processes (Business Analysis).
- Support the preparation and execution of software testing and implementation of ERP/PLM & other business systems, advise and support key users (Software Testing & Implementation).
- Develop information systems plans and harmonize business applications, acting as point of contact for changes in system and reporting (Information Systems Planning).
- Advise and support the business in the use of reporting and business intelligence tools, and ensure project delivery on‑time, within budget, with good quality and adherence to standards (Result Expectations).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems or related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of business applications experience with a solid understanding of business processes.
