Job Summary
The Sr. Business Information Security Officer (Sr. BISO) – Consumer and Wealth Management Technology will serve as a member of the Business Information Security Officer's organization and collaborate closely with line‑of‑business FLU/CIO executives. The role focuses on developing a deep understanding of business processes in order to conduct specialized, risk‑based information security conversations and to provide guidance on security topics.
Scope & Responsibilities- Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of information security initiatives for FLU/Ops.
- Serve as an information security subject‑matter expert and participate in the creation and upkeep of security measures for FLU/Ops.
- Provide guidance and advocacy regarding the prioritization of investments that impact information security.
- Advise management on risk issues related to information security and recommend actions in support of the bank’s risk management and compliance programs.
- Monitor internal and external information security trends and inform leadership.
- Manage quality control and reporting related to security activities.
- Ensure compliance with policies and laws governing information security.
- Information Security & Technology professional with 10+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of risk management experience with a proven ability to apply risk principles to complex business situations.
- Subject‑matter expertise in application security, vulnerability testing, and development of risk appetite.
- Experience evaluating cyber‑security controls and providing guidance for platform or distributed computing platforms (Cloud, PaaS).
- Experience with information security for No
SQL, Big Data, and unstructured data stores (Cassandra, Hadoop, and/or Teradata). - Knowledge of Windows, Midrange, and Mainframe platforms with emphasis on security and access controls.
- Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent influencing and problem‑resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate with individuals across a wide spectrum of technical understanding.
- Strong leadership skills that enable collaboration with peers and various levels of management.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience driving GIS/FLU/Ops risk deliverables and collaborating with risk partners on critical priorities.
- Participation in senior FLU/Ops risk management and business continuity routines.
- Identification and measurement of global information security controls on critical business processes or channels.
- Knowledge of customer and client focus, data governance, executive presence, architecture, business intelligence, threat analysis, vendor management, advisory, cloud solutions, controls management, technology system assessment, and shift‑management.
Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) – 40 hours per week.
Pay & BenefitsPay range: $ – $ annualized salary, determined by experience, education, and skill set. The role is eligible for the annual discretionary incentive plan and is currently benefits eligible.
