Network and Systems Administrator

Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Washington DC. As a Network and Systems Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining our network and computer systems to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements as needed.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
• Install and update software applications as needed.
• Perform regular backups to ensure data is protected in case of system failure.
• Provide technical support to end-users for network or systems‑related issues.
• Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement new systems or upgrades.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and make recommendations for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Knowledge of network protocols, hardware, software, and security best practices.
• Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/Server).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify complex technical issues quickly and find effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non‑technical individuals.

Salary: $1,700/month (negotiable based on experience).

Full‑time.

Washington DC.
