Amentum is seeking a Technical Analyst to join our team supporting an eDiscovery/Litigation Support Lab for a new team at the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, DC. This position is expected to work full‑time onsite in Washington, DC and reports to a Systems Manager.
Responsibilities- Consult with Contractor and Government management to solve complex litigation support requirements and recommend technical solutions, including application development, maintenance, documentation, quality assurance, and user support.
- Provide technical advice, supervision, and guidance to the contractor support team.
- Evaluate programs for efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and interoperability with client systems.
- Assess software and hardware requirements, short‑ and long‑range planning, systems integration, and telecommunications needs.
- Translate advanced concepts into practical solutions, define requirements, develop feasible alternatives, and estimate implementation costs.
- Present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations to a variety of audiences, including non‑technical personnel.
- May perform supervisory or managerial duties.
- At least five years of hands‑on experience installing, running, maintaining, securing, and upgrading litigation support software, including client, server, and cloud apps such as Rel One, Nuix, and Axiom.
- Experience with data migrations and handling financial crimes/non‑compliance cases.
- Mastery‑level skills in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting applications relevant to the consulting services required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or information management/technology preferred; graduate degree preferred.
- Some supervisory or managerial experience may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization; US citizenship required for MRPT credentials at this work location.
$124,000 - $186,000 (annual salary).
