The opportunity
The AEM Product Specialist (AEM Business Analyst) will support the Technical Lead to deliver and execute program of work through discovery and delivery by way of complex process design, staff competency and compliance management.
The AEM Product Specialist (AEM Business Analyst) will leverage relationships with various stakeholders, including subject matter experts, executives, users, and technical staff to analyse, elicit and document requirements associated with defined product scope and objectives for technical solutions.
Working within a large, complex, and multifaceted organisation, the Senior Business Analyst will be part of the Business Analysis Team within ICT’s Digital Engagement Team but will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders across the institution. By driving the interpretation of business objectives, from stakeholders to developers, and recommending improvements to process or technical solutions, the Senior Business Analyst is instrumental in supporting University and ICT strategy.
What you'll do Partner with stakeholders across the University to analyse business needs, gather requirements, and translate complex challenges into user-centred digital solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
Lead business analysis activities by developing user stories, documenting functional requirements, managing product backlogs, and supporting Agile delivery using Scrum methodologies.
Drive business process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance services, and implement innovative technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to build consensus, prioritise initiatives, resolve issues, and ensure business requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including developers, testers, project managers, and vendors, to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, aligned with business objectives, and successfully implemented.
Champion continuous improvement and change by supporting organisational transformation, promoting best practice business analysis methods, and contributing to the successful delivery of digital and technology initiatives.
What we're looking for Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within a complex enterprise environment, with a proven ability to lead business analysis activities, facilitate requirements elicitation, and deliver high-quality functional specifications.
Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), project management principles, and product management practices , with experience managing backlogs, user stories, and competing priorities.
Demonstrated experience delivering digital solutions , including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), API integration projects, and enterprise content management systems, with proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Excel.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills , with the ability to build trusted relationships, lead workshops, influence outcomes, and communicate…
