As we enter our next chapter of growth, we are looking for an Associate Attorney who wants to master the art of family law. The Role
We are looking for a dedicated advocate and a compassionate counselor. You will manage a diverse family law caseload, moving from initial consultations to final resolutions. Whether in the courtroom or at the mediation table, you will have the backing of a collaborative team that values your professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Lead family law cases from inception through resolution, including litigation and settlement strategies.
- Advocacy: Represent clients in trials, motion hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Client Consultations: Conduct client consultations to assess facts, provide empathetic legal advice, and manage expectations.
- Drafting: Prepare high-quality legal documents, including petitions, complex motions, and discovery.
- Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable, sustainable outcomes for families.
- Collaboration: Work alongside senior attorneys and support staff to refine case strategies and firm best practices.
- Continuing Education:
Stay updated on changes in family law and best practices through ongoing professional development.
What You Bring
- License: Active Washington State Bar membership (required).
- Experience: 0–3 years of litigation experience; a background in family law is preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional legal research and writing skills, paired with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Mindset: A "client-first" approach rooted in ethics, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit.
- Organization: The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of the details.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $86,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with skills and experience).
