Senior Real Estate Litigation Attorney

Our client, a prestigious, nationwide, law firm dedicated to providing legal services to financial institutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Attorney – Associate, to join their winning team in Washington.

Our candidate of choice will work in our firm’s west coast foreclosure department and will primarily manage judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions.

• Manage cases from inception to completion
• Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
• Draft court pleadings, defense of motions
• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
• Other duties and special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Juris Doctor from accredited law school
• Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law
• Admission to practice law in the states of Oregon and/or Washington.

• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
• Ability to manage and prioritize your caseload
• Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance
• Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action
• Demonstrates commitment to the Firm’s vision, mission and core values
• Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a face pace and capable of multi-tasking
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary
• Overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change

• Experience in litigation, real estate or mortgage law (as noted in qualifications)

• Compensation: 120,. / Annually
